Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Zoya’s at (518) 813-9001; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is zoyaspizzeria.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Albany is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I originally stopped in here out of convenience, but the great prices, consistently friendly service, and warm welcome have turned it into an almost daily stop. I might have a slight pizza addiction, but this place certainly isn't helping! The slices are bigger than your average Albany pizza slice, and when I first started coming in, you could get two huge slices and a soda for just $6—a deal that was hard to beat. Today I walked in and realized I'd forgotten my wallet. After digging through my car, I managed to scrape together exactly $6 in quarters, only to find out the special had gone up to $7. No big deal—it happens. The only real disappointment was that the pizza was so good today I could only afford one slice! What really keeps me coming back, though, is the service. The young woman behind the counter always greets everyone with a genuine, contagious smile and makes you feel like she's actually happy you're there. In an industry where great customer service can be hard to find, that kind of positive attitude stands out just as much as the pizza. Great food, great value, and even better service. I'll definitely be back... hopefully with my wallet next time.

Me and my 2 brothers came here to eat after a stressful weekend, and honestly I was SHOCKED at how good the pizza was!! It's very hot when it comes out so let it cool! We ordered a 6 piece mozzeralla stick, but they ran out of them so they offered us another appetizer free of any extra charge, and also surprisingly used up the last 2 mozzerella sticks along with replacing the rest with chicken tenders!!! It was so good :] Coming here for a birthday party for sure, my family was really satisfied. :D

Bought mozzarella sticks, cooked too long and no cheese inside each one, disappointing, inedible.

Delicious chicken over rice with fresh veggies and an overall well-balanced/flavorful plate. The workers were very pleasant and attentive to my order. They have some enticing desserts that I was very interested in but did not end up ordering due to it being late. I also noticed a pizza and drink deal that was very affordable. Overall great experience.

Zoya’s on New Scotland Avenue Albany, NY is a decent place for a variety of foods. I had their pizza and lamb gyro. I would recommend the pizza, not a fan of their gyro. Thank you Zoya’s New Scotland Avenue Alban, NY
